THE SEQUENCE: When to read Halo Array

Would you prefer to read Halo Array as a standalone story or as part of a sequence? Take a look at the options below.

Option 1: Standalone

 Halo Array  by David Cameron

Read Halo Array as a single story covering the climactic peak of the original Halo games. This is the quickest and easiest option but may leave you wanting more.

Option 2: Duology

Halo: The Flood  by William C Dietz

 Halo Array  by David Cameron

Read Halo Array as the amplified sequel to the first Halo story, covering all games in the original trilogy within the pages of two books. Read one novelisation followed by the other.

Option 3: Trilogy (Duology plus one)

Halo: The Fall of Reach  by Eric Nylund

Halo: The Flood  by William C Dietz

 Halo Array  by David Cameron

Start at the beginning with Halo's famous prequel, then read Halo Array as the third and final volume in a comprehensive book trilogy. Starting with The Fall of Reach can make The Flood easier to follow.

Option 4: Series

Halo: The Flood  by William C Dietz

Halo: First Strike  by Eric Nylund

Halo: Ghosts of Onyx  by Eric Nylund
